I'm one of the lucky few who get to call writing both a passion and a career. I created First Impressions, the predecessor blog to The Savory City in 2008. Since then, I've worn many hats in the communications and media field, working for Harper Publishing, a travel magazine, a KRON 4 TV news and Living Social. I now write and edit for a national trade business magazine.

I believe we should do what we love and do it often.  I enjoy new adventures and meeting new people.  I work for an electrical distribution company by day and as a blogger and adventurer by night. Culture is a beautiful thing and we should express it often.
