During Mass this morning, we had a guest performer sing and play the piano for us. After his song, he went up to the microphone and introduced himself as Bradley James, "the most famous person none of you have heard of." He has worked in film and television, and has performed at the White House and all over the world.
In fact, he worked very closely with Mother Teresa in the years before her death. She gave him special permission to write music to her personal words and prayers. James compiled these songs into a cd that he now sells to earn proceeds for charity. With her words and his music, Mother Teresa and Bradley James have created the best-selling Catholic cd in the world. Not too shabby. I guess it doesn't hurt to have God on your side.
