Spring Break

It's been about four days since I've been able to go online. Here's my spring break recap. I was home for the first few days, then my family and I went to Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

Tuesday
I met up with Ramona, Tiffany, Karina, Sam and Chris at California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. I really don't see them enough during the school year.
Afterwards we went over to my house. We got to talking about people in high school, I took out my yearbook from senior year and I realized that Sam never signed it. So after two years, she signed my yearbook. It was kind of funny because we've been friends since kindergarten and she signed my yearbook two years late, when I've lost contact with  a lot of the people who had signed my yearbook senior year.
Wednesday
I took Ramona to a new yogurt place by our house. It's called Top This Frozen Yogurt Bar! It's a cute little self-serve place. I got peach nectar yogurt with gummy bears, Crunch bar bits, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup bits, Oreo bits and mini M&Ms. It was really good. They charge $0.45 an ounce, which is kind of a lot. I ended up paying over $7 for both of our yogurts.
Thursday
My family and I left at 6 a.m. and got to Vegas by about 2. We checked in to Planet Hollywood Hotel on the Strip and hung out by the pool until dinner. Then we had a pasta dinner.
Friday
We hopped on a tour bus by about 8 a.m. and left for a five hour drive to the Grand Canyon .
I saw the Hoover Dam for the first time.
After a few hours of driving, we stopped at Williams, AZ for lunch. I got a barbecue pork burger with cole slaw and a chocolate custard for dessert. I also had an Arnold Palmer for the first time (half iced tea and half lemonade). It was pretty good.
Finally, around 2 we arrived at the Grand Canyon. It was my first time in Arizona and it was beautiful seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time. It's true what they say, pictures don't do it justice. It was really breathtaking.
Saturday
We spent the next day shopping at the Fashion Show Mall in Vegas. I just realized the only pictures I took that day were of the food I had. While shopping I grabbed a  corn dog from Hot Dog on a Stick.
Later we had dinner at this Filipino restaurant called Pinoy Pinay . I had Filipino spaghetti, which has a sweeter sauce and hot dogs in it. It's my favorite.
Also, my mom got a traditional Filipino dessert called Halo Halo (which means "mixed"). It's shaved ice with coconut milk, purple yam ice cream, flan, red beans, jello, jackfruit and sweet coconut.
All in all, it was a really great vacation. It was exactly the kind of break I needed.

I think they already exist

Boo
