Senioritis. It's Real.
Senioritis
- n. A colloquial term used in the United States and Canada to describe the decreased motivation toward studies displayed by students who are nearing the end of their high school, college and graduate school careers. "I have a bad case of senioritis".
Here I am, the night before my very last day of college and the unmerciful blow of senioritis has struck me. Exactly one presentation and one exam stand between me and the end of my undergraduate career, but it seems like these two tasks are nearly insurmountable. I have three pages of handwritten study guide notes sitting just inches away from me, yet it they seem already to be fading into the background. All I can think of now is the sweet, sweet promise of graduation.
Instead of studying this past hour, I have done the following:
-Browsed through hilarious pictures at
-Re-tried on all my graduation garb
-Re-watched the trailer to
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2
-Looked up the definition to senioritis
-Written this blog post
