How to make oatmeal, well, good...

How to make oatmeal, well, good...

One of my favorite meals is oatmeal.  I stumbled upon this simple yet delicious recipe when I was in college.  I stared in disbelief that anyone would put fruits in their oatmeal.  Any normal person would stir syrup or brown sugar in and maybe some raisins.  I gave this recipe a shot and found that it really was excellent.  The oatmeal, naturally, is warm.  However, the grapes and cuties are cold.  This clash of warm oatmeal and cold fruit provides a nice contrast in temperature.  The natural sugars in the fruit compensate for the lack of artificial sugars.  You will feel refreshed and energized having finished this healthy breakfast or snack.

Recipe:

1) Cook up some regular (low to zero added sugars) oatmeal.

2) Wash and place your grapes and cuties into the oatmeal.

3) Enjoy.

4) Repeat.

This meal is really that simple.  And the infamous bland oatmeal will be good again.

Until next time,

Grant
